Secrets of the Obscure, the latest Guild Wars 2 expansion, adds new story, new threats, a way to get the skyscale mount and explore new floating destinations. There are also new build I also get queasy if my camera's not zoomed out quite a bit. That combination makes it very hard to avoid seeing skyscale wings in motion, though I do my best to move aside and rotate my camera. I don't blame people who don't have nausea issues for wanting to hover on their skyscale. Skyscale takes way too much work to get and as a mount is almost totally worthless. And it's not even fun to use. Have better things to do with my time. Like finishing my legendary armor sets (which ARE worth the effort). If they make some major adjustments to the Skyscale that make it fun and useful then I will continue the journey.
The Skyscale mount is coming to Guild Wars 2 in the game's next Living World story drop, Episode 6: War Eternal, which will be the final episode of the fourth season. There's no release date yet.
1-8 on Num pad. I guess it is the benefit of a full-size keyboard. I just hit the button with my thumb when using the mount. B is for any selected mount, usually griffon or skyscale to catch myself in a fall or mid-glide.
also skyscale does not require as precise aiming as springer does. i mean have you ever tried to land on some branch with springer, and repeatedly missed it? with skyscale you do not have that problem, because you can carefully just maneuver skyscale on top of the branch. and if you miss, you just drop down a bit rather than having to try again all the way from the ground.
Springer is one of the critical mounts to have in any place in Tyria, it's a must to have and use mount in lots of scenarios and the only time you stop using it is when you get Skyscale but till then, it's one of the most used mounts to reach any high places, T3 Springer gives you a higher jump, T3 Crystal Champion gives you an extra leap over I8Y3Xz.
