The fan will blow the same. When you select where you want the air to blow, the only change is the vent doors open/close as appropriate. I'm guessing that the door deep in the dash got stuck and the cable has come off. As said above you might be able to access it by removing the glovebox and see anything obvious.
2014 Fiesta SE. Nov 26, 2019. #1. Rear works as expected. Pull stalk and it sprays and can hear the motor. Front does nothing. Press stalk in to operate front and no noise and of course no water. Put a meter on connector and reads 12v on both contacts. When operating either washer one side or the other drops to 0v.

If the motor was gunked up you'd still hear the mmotor trying. To see if its the fuse, run the back one and if it doesn't work, its the fuse, if it does then your front pump is gone.
In order to adjust the windscreen washer jets, you can use the same safety pin that you used to unblock the jets. Simply push the pin into the jet and rotate the jet into the correct position on the windscreen. If the washer jet is spraying too high, you’ll want to rotate the jet downwards and vice versa.
